Please help get the word out about what has happened with Copperhead. They're tricking people into buying an insecure product misrepresented as hardened. It isn't even updated to Android 9 and lacks full security updates. Pixels don't receive full security updates via Android 8.

AOSP 9 is already a good base. My work is on implementing further privacy and security improvements including features requiring compromises to performance, memory usage, etc. beyond what would be accepted in a mainstream operating system, at least by default.

It's very difficult to earn money because I want to release the work as permissively licensed open source projects. I'm moved to not providing any source code licenses until I receive funding. github.com/AndroidHardeni is MIT licensed because I got initial funding for the work.

The vast majority of my past / current projects aren't available under proper open source licenses yet until I work out a way of funding it. Trying to build a business around it wasn't working out, and then my business partner completely screwed me over. Not trying that again.

it’s more of a stopgap than a long term solution but you should think about patreon or other such financial support site site, at the very least it would probably give you some breathing room

It would help but I don't want to fall into the trap of releasing a bunch of code as permissively licensed to encourage donations and it definitely won't be enough to cover the work. I'm getting tired of that situation where everyone else is profiting of it, but I can't get by.
