I'd appreciate it if you would stop repeatedly misrepresenting my statements. The entire point I was making is that many of the non-AOSP and even non-OS components have serious vulnerabilities and also need security updates. This is yet another example of those vulnerabilities.

Accept the reality there will always be ways to get into devices, be they new or old.

That's why security updates and mitigations are so important. There will continue to be vulnerabilities, making it important to design with that in mind by providing better mitigations along with fixing the vulnerabilities that are discovered.

A device supported by the vendor will receive an update for these discovered Bluetooth vulnerabilities. There are more vulnerabilities remaining, and there will be more security updates for these components in the future. Pulling in AOSP security updates doesn't fix these issues.
