twitter.com/Ricrdo31523064 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E One day, maybe I'll be able to understand how having security updates for the kernel, drivers and firmware is a 'hardware firewall'. I do think IOMMUs and other hardware-based mitigations are important if that counts... *shrug*

So it seems that the ignorant knows very well that hardware security is for lazy and it works until someone get inside. In information security we do not sell hardware firewalls. I really wasted my time talking to an ignorant who recommends hardware firewalls

I don't understand what your responses have to do with moving on from phones that are abandoned and no longer have full security updates available. It's the same whether or not you use the stock OS and I'm not sure what F-Droid has to do with it...

The executions have to go through the firewall that is not stock, and the only one that can give permissions is me. if someone tries to make a remote connection I will be notified and this someone can not do anything until I give access or not.

Again, not sure what that has to do with the topic. That doesn't provide you protection against these security issues. It doesn't involve any connections that your firewall would be blocking.
