I ended up removing the DNS AAAA record for the time being, although the server still has IPv6 enabled. I'm still waiting for OVH to respond and they can hopefully identify and fix the issue promptly.

OVH IPv6 connectivity is turning out to be very poor on the attestation.app VPS. It frequently stalls connections by dropping all the packets... It doesn't impact all traffic consistently. It's often nearly impossible to log in via SSH over IPv6 yet the web server works.

I could probably avoid the problem by making another VPS with a new IP and switching to that, but that would involve some downtime and at that point I'd rather just switch providers. I'll wait a week or two and then I'll switch since not having working IPv6 isn't acceptable.

Seems a lot like an overloaded firewall / router with lower capacity / priority for IPv6 since it only impacts making new connections. The failures are pretty much random and the problem gets drastically worse at times. Not particularly optimistic about a quick resolution...
