The American Dream turns into the American Nightmare for individuals experiencing homelessness, as they are perceived as failures, lazy, crazy, addicts, rejects. We see the homeless as problems to be solved, rather than people to be loved... flawed and invaluable, just like us.

@joshelman France still has homelessness problems in Paris / Nice but nothing like SF for sure. Just back from 2 weeks in France and gosh SF need to take a page from France when it comes to 1) Public restrooms 2) Quality of the roads/streets 3) Quality of public transportation

Interesting that while the French state is supposedly more concerned for the welfare of their citizens, the poverty rate and homelessness rate is higher there than in the US.

I knew some of it, but still what an eye-opening read. America has failed its people.

I didn't attend the "fair hearing" in association w/ Medi-Cal not waiting for my death to liquidate my estate. Furthermore, I assumed entitlement to the free R&B + SS's dolings remedy for Premature Estate Liquidation... My taped newspaper blanket helped @meliansaburrel1

And at the end of the day, who's responsibility is it to gain an education?
