The real answer would be "we need the fear and for the young not to catch it so when the vaccine is available our share prices go up and I can retire to somewhere hot" Official "we need yo stop the second wave, protect the NHS, save the vulnerable, save lives"

will there be long term effects? Are they going to infect the teachers, university profs and eventually researchers? All those people we invested a lot for their education?

Given the "cases" we now count, extrapolate that up to the alleged 45K deaths....I'd argue millions of us have had it without knowing. We're way to long down the road to think otherwise.
