Of course I want lots more people being encouraged to adopt. But I want all the viewers to see the actual reality of adoption (where sometimes love isn't enough). #FindingMeAFamily

I’ve thought about adoption many times, but am put off by the problems which may crop up as the children get older. Contact with birth parents, for instance. I’d like to a programme address the issues further down the adoption road

Problem is British law n culture. You never get same claim in adopted children as their birth parents, no matter how much u care Fr them

We adopted an 8 year old boy, most wonderful child but so damaged,we were not given the correct support from the local authorities, the s.w. did their best in a very underfunded system. My son, now an adult, and I are currently estranged, due to violence, controlling behaviour

Totally agree. A duty on local authorities to assess but no timeframe for action is a gap in statute with serious implications for families

Only watched 2n half, but was worried about emphasis on presenting the children as 'not having any problems with behaviour' etc. Makes it harder to put in place support from beginning. A rounded picture doesn't have to detract from how amazing these lovely children are as well.

Almost undoubtedly these children once adopted will experience problems and perhaps display challenging behaviours - this really wasn’t made clear.
