I heard today that the estimated #methane ("natural gas") released by the sabotage of the #NordStream pipelines this week:
as damaging to atmosphere as 5 years #CO2 emissions from all USA cars (...i.e, damaging in terms of adding to #Climate change/warming/disruption).

Tech Note:
Each molecule of #methane (#CH4, "natural gas") is about 27 times worse than an extra molecule of #carbon_dioxide (#CO2) in adding to the atmosphere's reflection of heat (#infraded radiation) back to Earth's surface.
In terms of weight, it's ~75 times worse per tonne.
