People should vote for Biden--who is not a progressive--without illusions, with eyes open to his severe shortcomings. But not to vote for Biden is to close your eyes to the disastrous consequences for climate and democracy of 4 more years of Trump.

You are so right. There is only one issue, a President who has severe mental Heath issues & has all the markings of a substance abuse problem as well. A dangerous individual. Will be holding my breath until Jan 20.

I can tell you from distant Europe that we have suffered from his presidency as a real nightmare. Few times a "no change" had been so expected on the other side of the Atlantic, too. Of course, everything will run the same way for the powerful.
