    Whatever Assange is guilty of, I'm guilty of- and will be again. Biden must drop the attempt to extradite Assange and should cancel the standing indictment against him, which erases First Amendment freedom of the press.

    My son has it right. He knows the story intimately, having lived through it. These are among the facts I would have told Janny Scott at the had she asked me for comments before publishing her article.

    “Now It Can Be Told” runs the headline on a breathless story of how Neal Sheehan got the Pentagon Papers from my father . Sheehan wanted to counter the usual (accurate) narrative that my father gave the papers to the Times. . .

    President Trump's criminal liability for a great majority of American pandemic deaths is not 1st degree murder, but is far more serious, legally, than manslaughter. His crime amounts to "depraved heart murder," a form of 2nd degree murder. 1/

    2/ The future of climate depends on this. We must defeat Trump then spend 4 years pressuring Biden on many issues. I hope runs in 2024- she has my vote! But a progressive Democratic challenger only has a chance in 2024 if we still have a somewhat-functioning democracy.
