Affects 0.01% of the population, if that. Most of us want reliable, affordable energy and streets safe enough for our kids to walk down without being mugged and punched for their phones. Less virtue-signalling and more action on the big issues wouldn’t go amiss.

Actually the estimate from the Australian Human Rights commission (that’s gets their data from the ABS) is upwards of 11% of the population identify as LGBTIQ. That’s roughly 2750000 people and families this legislation affects. Governments can do more than one thing at a time.

Good to see. Conversion ‘therapy’ should be called out for what it is: child abuse. And like other forms of child abuse it should be illegal.
