The SOS
@SecretaryHobbs has offered to foot the bill for the site. The County Board passed a resolution to support the site. The Mayor of Tucson supports the site. But the County Recorder refuses to budge; so we are in court.Show this thread -
Yesterday, we heard from the Chairman and a Councilwoman who described the hardships this places on Yaqui voters. We also heard from a defense expert that said none of these discriminatory burdens matter because he thinks they won't affect turnout.

Today, we will hear from more members, experts, & importantly, the Recorder's office. I'll be in interested in what they have to say. We are hoping for a swift resolution to put an end to a case that shouldn't have been necessary. Let the Yaqui people vote on their Reservation.
