If anything, a person’s decision to sign up to vote is more central to shared political life than his decision to sign an initiative petition. ... [A} change in the composition of the electorate can lead to the change of any law.
The court gives voter reg drives their due as First Amendment speech: "A discussion of whether or not a person should register to vote ... inherently 'implicates political thought and expression.' Registering to vote is not a politically neutral act, and neither is declining to."
Why would anyone want to restrict voter registration drives?
Why do republicans not want people to vote? The more people who vote, the more the #CorruptGOP loses.
