Highlights: Arizona will treat all registration forms (state & fed) equally. All voters will be able to vote in fed elections regardless of cumbersome paperwork reqs. And AZ will check their databases for proof of citizenship b4 limiting anyone to fed elections only.

Cumbersome registration requirements make it impossible to have the type of GOTV efforts that increase voter turnout, particularly among underrepresented groups. Now, in Arizona, you can register to vote at the library, outside the supermarket, wherever.

All voters in U.S. elections must be citizens of the United States, yes. And Arizona does have a voter ID requirement (although I'm not a fan), so yes on that front too. This settlement makes it so eligible voters can access the system more fairly and equally.

That is correct; however, I retired from a county of 170,075 registered voters and in the 12 years I was there the feds asked for 2 applications they suspicioned were non-citizens.
