I will look into charge MM had no healthcare.I assumed as private employees & possibly union labor they had health benefits
Thousands signed up during WWII and were not in any unions.They were told MM were a branch of U.S. military.
The minute their ship sunken their paid stopped and had no insurance.
My friends father had no benefits when the kamikaze hit him and killed his best friend.
He did not a penny of disability from any unions or US government.
