@andyzred @rgrumbine @Kolyin @DanaRohrabacher Yes, smart people can get it.
@gregladen I enjoyed Ur exchange. My point was 80 to 90 percent CO2 not created by humans. Was there ever era with higher level of CO2?
-
-
Yes, there has been more CO2 in past times. At ca 400-500ppm for example sea levels were upwards of 8 meters higher.
@DanaRohrabacher -
@gregladen@DanaRohrabacher and how / where did mammals live during that period? -
And most of the time the CO2 was way higher than at present, was before mammals existed.
@davidmanheim@DanaRohrabacher -
@gregladen@davidmanheim@DanaRohrabacher Eocene tropical ocean temps hit 100F (R. Alley) 100F ocean temps = fatal heat/humidity for humans. -
@caerbannog666 so was that temp change caused by humans or solar. If glaciers moved up and down for millennium it twasn’t caused by humans -
@DanaRohrabacher This lecture, given by a leading scientist whom u know & should deeply respect, spells it all out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RffPSrRpq_g … -
@DanaRohrabacher Have you watched Dr. Alley's lecture yet? Isn't he great? Don't you wish you could have taken classes from him in college?

The current rate of CO2 increase is prob. highest ever, which is a problem.
