It’s nice that Trump is getting such good health care. Unlike my friend in March who had to crawl to the door to let in the EMT and then died at the hospital. Because he was told it was no worse than the flu.

When we met, I knew we were fated to be friends for life. Two theater kids from CT with impossible dreams. We flew in his small plane to LA & drove with the top down & an erroneous map-to-the-stars-homes, laughing on a sunny day. I know that megawatt smile is lighting up the sky.

Mark Blum was consistently a great actor and a finer man. We met when I moved to NY & were briefly TV married in 1987. Last Xmas we caught up for over an hour at a party and he was still kind and hilariously sardonic. I adored him. My heart breaks for his beautiful wife Janet.

I once met the legendary Diahann Carroll at a luncheon in Toronto. I told her that when she starred in Julia, people used to say my mother looked like her. Without blinking an eye, she said “Was she very beautiful?” Ms Carroll was a Goddess.
I first fell for when I was 11 & saw him in Fiddler on the Roof at the Melody Tent on Cape Cod. He was a wonderful actor.
