A further update — they now say they will still use the map from yesterday as the base map and use the other set of maps that were drawn today only as alternatives. We shall see...

Unbelievable update from NC redistricting. After randomly selecting a Senate map from one of our expert’s maps, overnight the Republicans decided they don’t like the map they got and now want to change their own process and pick a different map, and one they already identified.
