5 years ago I cut my CEO pay from $1.1M to $70k so I could pay all my employees at least $70k. That's not good enough anymore. Today I cut my pay to $0. I'm committed to laying off 0 of our employees. It's not much but it's what I can do. We'll get through this together.

Having to let employees go in the middle of a pandemic would be worse. If it comes to it accept the help. It’s not a failure during a worldwide crisis. Rugged individualism & exceptionalism is what’s gotten us here in the USA.

Right? Now I have to go figure out who he is, what they do, and if I am in the market for it. No donations today, but I can damned sure help their bottom line if they do something I was going to get elsewhere.

Sometimes everyone needs a helping hand, that's what being in a community means. You can pay it forward later when this is over.

This. So much this. You're showing people that responsible and compassionate business practices and success can coexist and other CEOs are sitting up and taking notice.

I don't get to the PNW often, but if I do again and can drag myself away from the old growth I would sure appreciate the opportunity to buy you a beer or something.pic.twitter.com/cyoKeTgu1W

An offer of help, is not you relying on the charity of strangers, it's strangers being inspired by you to be more generous to each other.
