The #UnDefiningQueer exhibition opened in January of this year and will continue until the 3 December 2023. The exhibition contains over 70+ artworks that have been queered & chosen by curators & the project participants. The exhibition is in 2 gallery spaces.

Another exhibit we have on display is our ‘Wales Is… Remembering Terrence Higgins’. Born in Pembrokeshire in 1945, Terrence Higgins was one of the first people in the UK to die of an AIDS-related illness in 1982.
1. This exhibit contains stories and objects relating to The Rainbow Wall and Football v Homophobia. In recent years Wales’ football team has become known as the Red Wall. The Rainbow Wall is the Welsh football teams first LGBTQ+ Supporters Group.

A change is coming for me, some of you have guessed, but I never dared imagine, especially as a son of refugees, who went to a school with many from working class roots. Yet, I hope to instil in my students a sense of hope and possibility!
1. We’d like to highlight Trawsnewid, our project that gives young queer people the space to learn and creatively respond to Welsh Queer history and their lived experiences. We host a variety of workshops, projects and exhibitions that are open to LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-30!
1. In 2022, Trawsnewid hosted an exhibition showcasing the work of 12 young Queer artists encapsulating their experiences living as queer people in Wales. Living up to the name Trawsnewid (Transformation), the exhibition was a transformative and boundary pushing success!

It is the centenary of the death of the cleric and mathematician John Venn, inventor of the Venn Diagram, who resigned his Orders in 1883 and built a cricket ball bowling machine which bowled out the Australian first XI in 1909. He is remembered thus at his Cambridge college.
