U.S. official confirms that the working dog wounded in the Baghdadi raid is ok. I said: "What's the dog's name?" Source said: "It's classified." I said: "Really?" Source said: "Yes." I'm still not positive if the source is kidding or not.

Confirmed with a second source: As of this morning, at least, the dog's name is classified. Mind you, the dog's name is not "Classified." But it's classified. https://twitter.com/DanLamothe/status/1188848690708058114 …

Gen. Milley, speaking at briefing this afternoon: "“We’re not releasing the name of the dog right now. The dog is still in theater.... We’re not going to release just yet photos or names of dogs or anything else. We’re protecting the dog’s identity.”

New story about our furry hero now published. Fun fact: The U.S. military once gave dogs Purple Hearts and valor awards. It stopped, but other countries still offer similar recognition.https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2019/10/28/with-tweet-photo-trump-feeds-intrigue-about-classified-military-dog-baghdadi-raid/#click=https://t.co/q87WgNLmZd …

Occurred to me that if the dog has good years of service yet and gets called by name, that'd probably be a problem.
