For the last two months I've been sleeping for 4 hours a night, thinking about Matthew Walker's "Why We Sleep". 130 hours of writing and research and 6000 words later:https://guzey.com/books/why-we-sleep/ …
oh maybe i didn't see the full thing - let me look again (sorry i don't use twitter much)

oh i see now - the yeast thing.. ya i agree its a minor point and there may be more the the yeast than we appreciate too. I guess part of my point is that some things in science are up for debate and just cause he isn't 100% accurate on everything i think its not way off

of course! but Walker tells is that the book is scientifically accurate and he even cites it in his academic papers (see section 14 of the essay). I think he loses the ability to make sweeping pop-science generalizations when he decides to cite the book in his academic papers.

oh - so you are just saying he cited that wrong but its true right? I just want to understand

I honestly don't know if there are any that don't sleep. My impression is that this is a hotly debated point in the literature. But yes, the main point in the essay in that the source explicitly contradicts Walker (even if his source might turn out to be wrong)
