why do so many scream "Communism", "orwellian" or "authoritarian" --- when all the "authorities" themselves are taking the vaccine? We're on the same boat, regardless of class/ power structure. And in a pandemic, this initiative makes sense

Because it is called public safety....if you read the constitution about the general welfare and how the Federal Government can promote the general welfare of the people. Need citation, maybe court cases?

They aren’t going to hold you down and force you to get vaccinated if you refuse. They’re just going around to give people accurate information in the hope they can convince some to get the vaccine. People are still free to make bad decisions if they don’t want it.

The reason it is so important that everybody get the vaccination is that viruses mutate. The more people who get the virus, the more likely it is that it will mutate into something that is vaccine resistant and more deadly. What part of this is so tough for you to understand?
