I rarely weigh in on this kind of thing but this infuriates me. Wendy Davis is using veterans and Gold Star families for her political advantage and I won’t stand for it. If Wendy Davis doesn't denounce this, she has no business representing a single Texan.
Wendy Davis lied to this Gold Star family and manipulated them into doing an ad for her. It is shameful. Here is the truth:
There have been four specific Gold Star related bills passed in the House, and Chip voted for them - not against them.
Wendy Davis and her progressive allies are being disingenuous. Chip Roy was a cosponsor of the Gold Star Family Tax Relief Act and clearly supported the policy, but not the larger spending package it was included in.
Wendy Davis must call for this ad to be taken down and apologize for lying to grieving Gold Star families and manipulating them for her own political gain. It’s gross. We will not stand for it.
