I understand the need to inject money into the economy where needed. But many people still have steady income and DO NOT need a $1,000 check. I certainly do not. If you just sent money to everyone you reduce the administration cost. Setting limits and levels, deciding who gets what/how, wastes time and energy. For the rich $1000 is a drop in the bucket, whether it’s a check or tax cut.
