In an alternate universe where Republicans still held the House, the government would be open, federal workers would have their paychecks, and Border Patrol would have the funding and tools they need. Just something to think about.

Dan, your constituent in H-Town here. This makes no sense. 1st, that exact scenario was in effect a couple of weeks ago (before you started your term) and that was not the case. 2nd, earlier the Senate voted 100-0 to reopen the gov without Trumps wall $ and House is now on board
