and he never held a job in his entire life. he wouldn't have a clue

-
He's actually had the same job for decades, since he was a child and still working tirelessly. Long live His Holiness

-
it's not a regular job to earn a living.
-
He has dedicated his whole life to humanity. Spent the last 59 years fighting for his homeland
#Tibet and the#Tibetan people's basic human and religious rights. Being#DalaiLama is a job for life...... for many lives

-
it's not a job at all. all his needs are taken care of. he's had it good all his life and knows nothing about a weekly budget.
-
I'm sure His Holiness has far more to worry about than a weekly budget. -
this is why he knows nothing at all about what it is like to support yourself.
-
Why not pick on the pope ? Fancy cars and privet jet .

Happiness comes from spiritual richness, not materialistic wealth... Happiness comes from giving, not getting. If we try hard to bring happiness to others, we cannot stop it from coming to us also. To get joy, we must give it, and to keep joy, we must scatter it...

Very powerful what u said there transcends religious boundaries.

When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river poisoned, only then will we realize that one cannot eat money

Higher education and wealth is simply meant for better evolution and service of humanity. It should lead to more happiness, prosperity, and compassion amongst people. If it is not serving the purpose, then that society is simply moving in a wrong direction.

Wise words

-
Abundance can be accessed by each and every single one of us in all areas of life, if we only focused on our purpose and followed our heart. Please let me know if you agree and let me know what you think.

Science should, as well as wealth, also serve humanity and not help to enslave it. But, what role should religion have? What will religious leaders do when the world becomes rational?
-
They should try to implement Love and the ability to believe in ourselves in all of us. Only than when we all have the light inside of us as guidance, we will be going in the right direction.
-
Nice one, religion should serve as a moral component to guide our science, wealth and other material riches to the benefit of the mankind, and not helping political and economic elite to enslave people like all major religions do.
-
Exactly.
-
And we should teach our children to meditate from young age. That way the brain developes differently, bypassing the "chains" of modern education whose main purpose is to make us dumber and to enslave us.
-
We should teach our children to think in abstract categories, to have a wide worldview and to react upon their empathy. But even if we are able to teach them and equip them with such qualities, society will rob them of it and use their life energy to feed its dull mechanism.
-
Well than it can not be done so easily. And the meditation does just what you desribed, even physically changing the brain in as little as 6 weeks. Than the connection to the universal energy is much stronger, and it can iradicate the brainwashing little by little.
