As a human being I’m aware that we are all physically, mentally and emotionally the same and we all want to live a happy life. Scientists say our basic nature is compassionate. It’s clear that love and affection bring people together.

The problem is that what constitutes a "happy life" is quite different to different people. Our basic compassionate nature is always fighting our ego and learned culture. Still; realistic hope for the future is never wrong, and should be encouraged. Without rose tinted blinders.
