Yes, but some, like me, consider the practice of love and compassion to be their values, and neglect religion. So much hate, and bigotry in the name of religion, it is not worthy of my time.

Mam ; it's just a matter of our surroundings and people that give religion a different meaning . The religion superior than other is the religion of humanity

. The base on which all religion are made is LOVE for everyone

I’m going to disagree, because meaning, for me, comes from within. I was brought up with religion, and now, I have a choice. It’s mine to make, and I choose not to adhere to religion. That’s all.

Mam yes u r correct meaning comes from within in the same way love and compassion comes from within . Believing in humanity gives us the meaning of life why we are here - to love humanity with compassion
#beliveingod#beliveintruth love humanity

Love & Compassion brings us peace of mind. It brings a smile to our face and genuine smiles bring us closer together
It's basic necessity of human life, without which humanity can't exist.
One has to practice it on daily basis irrespective of diversities for prosperous life.pic.twitter.com/zeR96f4Ldj

The basic foundation of humanity is compassion & love. This is why, if even a few individuals simply try to create mental peace & happiness within themselves & act responsibly and kind-heartedly towards others, they will bring peace & prosperity towards everyone

As an atheist, I would argue that I try to be loving and compassionate, and I often see religious people behaving without those qualities.
-
Absolutely. I hate to disagree with HHDL, but I have found more examples of true compassion from non-religious people than religious ones. I would reframe the statement that developing compassion is critically important regardless of religious belief.
-
I think he meant -people say those things, but those traits are needed for all humans to survive- meaning that the non religious also have that trait
-
Yes, we all need that trait. It’s funny, I think atheists are used to being represented as ammoral, unethical- Not as capable of compassion. That hurts. Of course we know compassion is important. Some of us left our religions for that very reason.

Atheism is also a kind of faith. We cannot know whether there is a God. All we know for sure is that we have each other and a little bit of time. We need love and compassion to live with dignity.
-
Mam we are a part of a supermesoul , the ultimate energy of the universe is within us ; so if u want to know whether god is or not - help people- they give you blessings with love
- and for them you will be the one doing the act of god
