I explained this to my therapist a while back when I was asked why I'd stopped using a journal. It was just harder. I don't like keeping things to myself, being pent up. it has the same type of negative build-up to me as keeping a shameful secret.

Fully behind you on this one. I've had conflicts with family over how much I share on social media like Twitter, unable to convince them that doing so is healthier for me than bottling it up. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You've helped me put words to my own struggles <3
