How does that make any sense? You could argue that the Keystone pipeline was also “almost completed”.

The keystone pipeline was sand oil from Canada and sold outside the US. Not worth risking our water. It’s crap oil that requires lots of chemicals

Yes Germany has to the US it can focus on itself, not Germany. Anyway how else can Germany be rid of coal, more Uranium ? Gas is cheaper than batteries today.
