Don’t get me wrong, I love PvP in Sea of Thieves! The ship battles are awesome but the Keiths do come out in full force when there’s a friendly event on.

Yooooo people saying ‘It’s not Sea of Friends’ have obviously never played The Elder Scrolls games bc if we based our entire gameplay off a game’s title you’d be finished after a few quests

Yeah lol There are also people saying: It's called Sea of THIEVES, and Pirate's were Thieves, so if you don't steal and kill, you are not a pirate! And I'm like: Who the fuck are you to tell me if I'm or I'm not a pirate!

Also pirates rarely actually attacked each other. It was all steaming from merchants! I’m all for PvP but as soon as they do a friendship event the Keiths all roll in to whinge about it

The thing which gets me about this is; the tension in SoT is seeing a sail on the horizon and *not knowing* if they're going to be friendly, indifferent, or hostile. A default expectation of hostility changes the game so much

It's a shame, really. I love the cooperative gameplay of having a crew and just doing quests. Kinda sucks to invest so much time into things only to end up getting killed by someone with so much more experience and a bigger crew.
