No abnormalities picked up on the MRI. Likely is caused by a mixture of stress, hay fever, antidepressants making my mouth extremely dry or some sort of infection that’s overstaying it’s welcome. May need tonsils removing in a couple months if my right one is still swollen.
They removal would be for preventative measures only and will be reviewed by a surgeon in the next 6 months because “There’s no longer need for urgency, there’s no cancer there so try to relax and enjoy life!” Lovely ENT, so relieved I could cry.
Oh good god please read the above tweets. I didn’t beat cancer, I don’t have it! I had a big scare and have been through a lot of scary tests and may still need a tonsil removing but I didn’t have it! I’m not one of those endlessly brave few.
