Attempting to bake a low calorie cake when I’m terrible at baking 
Now, I’m a great cook. Don’t get me wrong there! I love cooking savoury dishes, fancy pastas, magic soups that fill the void in your very soul. But BAKING? Maths but with food?? Noooope

I was super uptight about baking recipes at the start, but once I got a bit more practice it became easier to make adjustments that worked out ok. It's still food magic though.
The low calorie cake flopped. It was undercooked, oily and chewy. HOWEVER - I made a classic cookie cake bar recipe and that turned out beautiful (digital scales helped). It aaaaall just takes practice and patience… though I’m not known for the latter
