So I missed two payments to my water company for the flat. They never contacted me, I had no idea I’d missed them until I checked my credit score and it had plummeted back down. I contacted them and paid it off but it would still show on my score for 6 years. A stain.
But today a nice man called Andy called and confirmed he’d looked into it and said they ‘should have and could have done more’ so have now completely cleared the late payments so they no longer show up on my credit report at all. So that’s why I cried over a little kindness.
How did you do this out of interest? Did you contact the company directly? We have a similar situation here and I want it goneeee!
Yeah, the credit agency were a bit rubbish so I contacted Severn Trent directly to speak to them about it! With the whole ‘lost your job in the middle of a pandemic, fighting off a CCJ after a DV relationship’ they turned out to be quite understanding
