I keep seeing posts about adults getting diagnosed with ADHD and it's wonderful but also... how did they manage to get organised enough? I genuinely think I might benefit from it but the approach is gonna be 'give examples of your behaviours' and I'll mumble and look at my feet

Same, wanna discuss it with my gp, but dont feel like bringing it up during a global pandemic. Working from home has highlighted how bad my concentration issues are. Last I spoke to her she just said it was stress.

Yes. This. The more I hear others talk openly about ADHD, the more I think I recognise myself in their symptoms, while still feeling wary to mention that for fear of people claiming that I'm not 'allowed' to suggest that I might have ADHD without a diagnosis.
