I’m still worried about wrapping presents because I have ‘Oh god, don’t YOU wrap them. They’ll look awful, we can’t give people THAT, I’ll just do it’ ringing around in my head from my ex. Thanks, narcissist! I’m almost 30, I should be able to wrap gifts without crying?

I just can’t bare to look at it, I wrapped it and now when I see it all I can see is *all* the mistakes I made!

Not mistakes creative interpretation and artistic expression that make it personalised. My favourite thing about Christmas used to be my gran would try and wrap presents without tape so your gift would just fall out as soon as you picked it up.
