I'm just pointing out that it's stupid to say "f*ck" instead of fuck because they'll still know what the word is anyways and it goes around a muted word filter. I'm trying to think logically, showing how it's worse to censor it. I'm trying to help victims of abuse, if anything.

I'm a victim of abuse. It's common knowledge to mute more than just the regular spelling of a word. ie - sex/s*x/s3x. The * is a censor that many victims, like myself, who don't mute words appreciate.

Maybe I am misunderstanding something, but it just seems odd that censoring a word like that can help at all. Doesn't your mind immediately just think of the word when you see it?

That's subjective, I'm a victim and many victims I know appreciate the censorship. I hope you all realize you're spamming a victim arguing semantics. Pls just move on, thanks.

Except here's the thing. You and Daggers have basically said that triggers may not be based in logic or are a subjective experience. Meaning it's different for a lot of people. Wouldn't that mean that you're generalizing your own category of people, effectively--

gate keeping how to get triggered? All I'm saying is that when I read a censored word that only has one letter censored, I easily read the original word. I just personally don't see how that is useful, but I know that when it comes to triggers, they can sometimes--
