My issue is that if someone muted "fuck", it won't pick up on "f*ck", so the mute was worthless and so was the censoring.
There might be first time users, people might not know the mute button exists. Why are y’all so pressed about protecting victims of abuse?

I'm just pointing out that it's stupid to say "f*ck" instead of fuck because they'll still know what the word is anyways and it goes around a muted word filter. I'm trying to think logically, showing how it's worse to censor it. I'm trying to help victims of abuse, if anything.

Like, it's not being pedantic. It's being logical and reasonable. The idea that "it takes longer to register the word" I think it a terrible excuse for censoring manually because it doesn't make any sense at all. The reality is that person was self censoring because--
