Alright, the pandemic is *finally* getting to me.
I know I'm luckier than most but those Tier 3 restrictions on mine and my parent's areas caused a tearful breakdown just now, even knowing it was coming. Not even Dolly Parton's Little Drummer Boy cracked a smile. 
Please just let me be upset about it, yeah? Saying "It could be worse," to someone isn't helpful. Sadness is subjective. Emotions are subjective.
Sorry if this is sassy, I'm just preempting anyone accidentally silencing me with guilt.
It's rough. Breakdowns of sadness are bound to happen, and they're okay. It's a shit year. We need to feel sorry for ourselves once and awhile, other people's miseries don't lessen that you're feelin' low. Hope you feel better soon.
I just... know I'm luckier than so many? Like I live in a loving household (if this was 2 years ago I'd be stuffed), I'm warm, I'm fed. I've a good job with supportive colleagues.
Maybe that's why it's taken so long to get to me but damn, it finally just did.
