Bannon's entire philosophy is that America and the world's ruling powers need to be destroyed and put back together. He literally has said he intends to destroy America and UK to rebuild it in his image. He is eerily close to being an outright terrorist.
And THIS is one of the many reasons the UK have been watching this election closely. For so many of us, having someone in charge of such a large country that doesn’t believe in the virus, doesn’t believe in climate change etc - that effects ALL of us.

From the perspective of many of us here, it's even more than that. To us, it's legit the end of our democracy depending on how things go. It's wildly terrifying. BUT...Biden has the victory on lock down at this point.
