Reading about people’s #endometriosis, the pain they feel, their infertility, the heavy periods
It’s horrifying that it takes so long to diagnose. Between 5 and 15 years. Ridiculous. Why aren’t people being taken seriously about this? Period pains THAT painful aren’t normal
I was given extra strong painkillers by my doctor (I have an immunity to normal painkillers, I’m a MUTANT!) and said “Pains like this are normal when you change your birth control”
I think we’re a long way off.

Painkillers literally do nothing lmao I can pop codeine, ibuprofen, and paracetamol for days but nope. Can't come off birth control because if I do, I literally can't move for 3 days a month and just scream every time I have to shit or piss. That's normal though

The only painkiller to touch endo pain is mefenamic acid. It is a godsend. But just try getting a prescription for it
I read about a girl who was admitted with sepsis after a ruptured appendix. Asked why she didn't get help sooner "I've had cramps worse than that" - Antworten anzeigen
