Cool. There's a red kite that lives in the tree at the bottom of my parents' garden. Always adds a little extra to visits.

This was so beautiful! It was flying against some intense rain clouds with the sun shining off it, such a breathtaking sight! I'd love one to move into our garden!

That poor beautiful bird! At least it got a happy ending! I still say hello to magpie friends, compliment crows on their lovely feathers, feed pigeons, tell robins that they're my favourite etc. But this is so magical!

Red Kites everywhere near me, stunning birds, they got re introduced from breeding programme

I'm so jealous! I never get to see them, I was just so excited and Chris needed to work but I was like "NO, REVEL IN THIS MOMENT WITH ME!" because we just never had them in Wigan!

Seeing these gorgeous birds always used to be a highlight of our family holidays to Scotland and Wales. I’m amazed how many we have around Cambridgeshire - when we return back from the Midlands, we normally see so many above the A10! (We even had one flying low above our house!)

I always see loads round here, like on a daily basis, but doesn't make them any less majestic. I had one fly about 4 feet above my head while I was in my garden before
