Because unless I have worked on any games recently then I can't argue the merits of a game and how the pixel style doesn't do justice to modern games?
That’s just… so wrong. So many modern games have seen success with this style.
Seriously, Shovel Knight was huge. Stardew Valley is absolutely MASSIVE. There’s loads of them, this looks 
and you’re one to throw stones if you haven’t done anything but complained.

Everyone keeps mentioning how some pixel games do well. They do well in-spite of the graphics not because of the graphics. They would more likely do much better if they had better graphics. simple as that.
