Yes, see I do think incidents like this are when people cannot admit to others, or even in themselves that what they have done was wrong. Because in our own minds we always want to think we are "good" right? It's incredibly frustrating when trying to help educate people. :/
Same thing here with the insta message... white fragility I saw one defence that was like "Well, Asian people brighten their skin to look white so how is that ok?" and I'm trying to be an ally and learn to let people from the community speak up but DAMN I wanna say some bad words and people that try the reverse racism crap

o lord. It is sometimes very frustrating trying to educate people and not shut them down. I have been guilty of this so many times, but trying to learn to understand when someone wants to be educated vs wants to be defensive no matter what is where I am at haha :DDanke!
