I wear these size 10 skinny jeans from @boohoo and they fit perfectly. Order some shorts and they’re ***2 INCHES SMALLER*** and I’m bursting out of the rips like a sausage wrapped in cheese wire.

Throw dress sizes out entirely. The fact that ladies trousers aren't waist/leg like men's is insane. I might look into their history because it's probably something really awful like "they were created by a 1930s male fashion direction to encourage women to be stick thin"

I think the history was to standardise dresses for mass production and high street sales. Seamstresses mostly used measurements. However vanity sizing has butchered any consistency.
