I *know* it’s a first world problem but damn it, they’re part of my identity. I ignored the people that made fun of them for being impractical (the only thing I *can’t* do is open cans with them, everything else I can!) and I used to really damage my cuticles with chewing.
Also, just *thinking* about cutting them off gives me a huge lump in my throat and makes me tearful. They’re the one thing I have that I’ve been able to keep with me through years of pain.

It’s a Choice. Others shouldn’t tell you what to do about your nails. There’s many people who don’t even care about the lockdown.
There’s a thing, called washing hands! Lol your nails are beautiful and I’m jealous hahah my natural nails suck and also take forever to grow.
Fake nails harbor the most germs. With handwashing, your natural nails aren't a risk to anyone. People who bite their nails are actually more at risk themselves and to others.
Plus people should mind their own beeswax, AND SHUT UP. 
As long as you thoroughly wash your hands it shouldn’t make any difference.
Dang girl!! I am in awe. I've only ever had fake nails that long...my real nails get brittle and break all the time. Also, you do you. Keep painting them gorgeous and showing them off.
