how do I make friends with other women on Twitter without looking like a weirdo 
How did you take something wholesome and meant for women and make it about men?
If you know them, send them a request. If you don’t, don’t send them a request. Don’t DM them with anything creepy, learn to take no as an answer and they won’t do anything

Half of the issue is that when you send a woman a DM and she says she’s not interested (and she’s not interested in making another friend) then guys just PERSIST instead of just saying ‘No worries’ and then moving along.

A bit harsh there Daggers don’t you think? I’ve met George. I drove to his house in Belgium on the way to Gamescom. He is a great person who wouldn’t intentionally ‘make it about men’ if you knew him :(

He hasn’t actually engaged with me before, so I’m not to know anything about him barring his first impression which *isn’t* great. I have told him this isn’t the tweet to air these issues but I’m so used to being ‘gentle’ and just getting insulted by dudes now that I’m *tired*
