I absolutely hate that. I once had a client ask me in the treatment room if I was married, and I said no. She's all, "Why not?" I said "because I'm not." Then she asked, "Do you want kids?" "No." "You'll change your mind." Give it a rest, people!
One of my colleagues today asked about why I don’t want kids, and I told him I don’t have the time or patience for a kid. He gave me the ‘you’ll change your mind’ speech but I won’t. And it doesn’t make me any less of a woman.pic.twitter.com/ifHcGbNor4

By the same token, I have friends and acquaintances constantly telling me how shit my life must be because I have a child. It's weird how everyone seems to think they know everyone else's mind on this *le sigh*.

Having kids is a very serious lifestyle choice! It's hard to believe parents would expect everyone else to want to do it. There is no way parenthood is for everyone! And that's totally fine! :)
