One person dies every 37 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. Sheeesssh those numbers are astronomical! Yet I hear more about gun violence. Do we really care as much as we pretend to?
-
The main difference is if I eat poorly and smoke, I am increasing my own risk of cardiovascular related death. If I shoot a gun I am increasing your risk of gun related death. Having said that, why can’t we address BOTH?
